She is Here
Returning, after 16 years
not as a repeat of the past,
but as a deepening.
Listen within.
Something in you already knows.
You knew the moment you heard.Â
It's time to set sail on a sacred voyage home.

The Calling
When the calling came, Brandon Bays — founder of The Journey — said you must do it.
She has been Waiting
You did The Journey Intensive and felt something open.
Something real. Something you recognised.
And since then, life has continued
full, demanding, sometimes beautiful.
But underneath it, something hasn't gone away.
You might notice it in small moments.
When things go quiet.
When you stop and feel what's still there.
A recognition.
A longing.
A knowing that there is more.
That something in you is still waiting.
Still longing to Remember.
SacredWoman: JourneyWoman Remembered is for you.
What is the Retreat
This isn't a retreat in the usual sense.
It's not a weekend workshop.
It's not something to get through, get right so you can get somewhere.
It's four days in circle.
Held by the space, by the land, and by the women in it.
There is something in the body of a woman that holds more than her own life.
It holds what her mother held.
What her mother's mother held.
The accumulated weight of what women have been asked to be across generations.
Shaped by centuries of expectations, of roles, of what a woman is supposed to be.
What was suppressed. What was performed.
What was never allowed to simply be.
Inside the Retreat
JourneyWork — bespoke processes designed by Laurie specifically for this retreat and this group. The same work that opened something in you before, carried forward with 27 years of lived experience steeped in this method.
Honest Inquiry
guided meditation and self-inquiry practices that invite you into clarity and deeper presence as a woman, right now.
Embodiment
movement and embodiment sessions that bring you back into your body in a real way.
Ritual and Ceremony
ancient rituals and ceremonies woven throughout, honouring the wisdom that women have always carried.
Circle
where you are seen and where you see others. Space to share, to deeply listen, and to hear your own heart.
There is space for what is real to come forward.
Nothing is forced.
And you won't be doing this on your own.
The Four Days
There's no pressure to perform or keep up. We move together — in your time, in your own way, at your own pace. The container is a steady, warm embrace. Everything is welcome.
Arrival
You land. Your body begins to settle. Together we build the container and set sail. You meet the women you are voyaging with and something in you recognises them. You remember you are not alone.
The Unfolding
Stories surface. Some known, some unknown. Centuries of the unspoken are welcomed. Not pushed. Not rushed. Something you've been holding begins to loosen and free.
Embodied Clarity
Recognitions happen - not only emotionally, but physically. Your body is given permission to speak in a way it hasn't been able to and explore terrains it's never been invited to. Not through thinking. Through knowing. And your body begins to move in ways it perhaps hasn't in years or lifetimes.
Integration
You leave changed. And you leave held. Something deep remembers and comes home. Your body carries it differently now — lighter. You are more you. And the threads we weave together connect us always.
What You Leave With
What happens will be very personal to you but you won't leave with a list of outcomes.
âť–Â A felt sense of being back in your own body, not holding yourself in the same way anymore.
âť–Â A quiet beneath the noise of the mind, and the ability to return to it.
âť–Â A returning trust in yourself. In your own knowing.
âť–Â Connection to yourself, to something greater, and to the women you voyaged with.
âť–Â A sense that something has shifted, and won't go back to how it was before.
âť–Â A circle that continues beyond the four days and never ends.
I'm Ready to ComeWho Holds This
Laurie Collins created JourneyWoman.
She has been in The Journey for nearly 30 years. She built JourneyWoman, led it, and toured it across Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the United States — facilitating hundreds of women through some of the most significant thresholds of their lives. For 9 years she served as Head of The Journey Australia and remains Brandon Bays' practitioner of choice. In that time she helped thousands of people find their way back to themselves through Journey work.
Then life moved.
She became a mother. She stayed in circle. She kept walking through everything a woman moves through over time — the body changing, the roles shifting, the quiet reckonings that don't come with a manual.
For 26 years she has been in a women's circle that has never stopped meeting. For 17 years she has held a mothers circle alongside it. That continuity is not incidental. It is the ground this retreat stands on.
This work now comes from all of that. Not from who she was then — but from everything she has lived since.
"I am being invited to bring all of me to the creation of this retreat."
What Women Have Said
"JourneyWoman was my very first Journey retreat. I was 18. For the first time since I was 6 years old, I felt safe in my own body. It was a coming home that has stayed with me — 21 years later."
— Emma
"Growing up in a patriarchal religion, I had never experienced embodied feminine spirituality. Being physically held by women — and holding them — was probably more healing for me than anything else. I got to feel what it was like to actually be in my body."
— Simone
"There is no greater freedom than the gentleness of this love that melts all the noise within. The freedom to be — to give and receive love wholesomely and unconditionally — is such a huge gift in my life."
— Tracy-Kim
"Being with women only in such a real and beautiful space was something I'd never experienced before. And it felt so right. I felt the bond and closeness of a sisterly kind of love with the whole group."
— Jen
